Book Announcement! - Fated To Darkness Book One

Ok, my smut lovers…
I am so STOKED to announce I’m in the works of a new book to be published in both ebook and print formats!
The book is the first piece of fiction I plan to publish outside my pen names, Kipani and Jillian Brooks, and as a smut writer, that is a little scary.
But, we have to go outside our comfort zone sometimes, and I’ll fully admit that over the years, I’ve found the greatest… ahem… shall we say… satisfaction… I have known has come from going outside my comfort zone.
So, here we are.
A little background: I’ve been brewing on this for over a year, and while I have other dark romances on the back burner, this book has really taken root in my heart and soul, leaving me consumed with the need to continue it and make it a priority.
So what the fuck is this all about?
Frankly, “why choose” novels have me in a chokehold that I never want to be released from.
If you find yourself asking what a “why choose” novel is, here is a quick overview: one person and multiple lovers (usually one woman with multiple men) giving their main person just what they need when they need it.
I prefer the characters to be paranormal in nature, usually using all the magic they possess to satisfy in all the darkest ways.
So, I decided it was time to start writing my own, and the book is flowing… in more ways than one.
Just to give you a taste of what’s in store:

Liam was my father’s right hand. He always knew how to get the job done, but he has secrets too. Secrets I know… which makes him the only one I think I trust. But how can I be sure?
But Liam isn’t enough to hide me from the war about to happen… over me.
Over my blood.
But if Liam, a dragon shifter, can’t help me, who can?
A demon preist? His twin brother?
A dark fae and his shadow?
Maybe all of them?
The only place to go from here is down… to the underworld that is, where demons and dark fae reign.
Where my fate is sealed.
WARNING: Fated to the Darkness is a spicy “why choose” series intended only for those who prefer a walk on the wild side. If you aren’t a fan of demons who like to share, group activities, dominant dragon shifters, and dark fae with rather aggressive shadows, you should probably turn away and find a nice wholesome romance to read. But… if you find yourself wanting to venture down the dark path, I’d like to welcome you to the twisted woods… where your demons are always welcome.
This book will be a solid 4.5/5 in terms of spice… you are warned!

I can’t wait to share this story… I plan to release it in chapters as I write them, which also means they may get tweaked here and there as the story continues, edits are made, and I finalize a print copy.
BUT, I want you on the ride with me! Writing a novel is hard enough, but keeping it a secret, for me, is even harder.
Ideally I’d like to release a few chapters at a time as the story progresses. The first 3 chapters are currently in the edit phase and will be released later this week!
